Carl LeFan, 68, of Cherokee, Alabama, died February 7, 2011, at his residence. He was a Deacon and song leader at Pride Baptist Church, and enjoyed woodworking and model trains. Visitation is scheduled for 5 PM on Wednesday, February 9 and will continue until service time on Thursday, February 10 at Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Thursday, February 10, 2011, at Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Dwight Rivers and Bro. Bobby Johnson. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include Stoney Haraway, Jamie Summers, Troy Haraway, Lee Grisham, Garron Green, Mike LeFan, and Daniel Harbin. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by 2 brothers – Dan LeFan (Carla) of Cherokee, AL and Jerry LeFan (Phyllis) of Memphis, TN; 2 sisters – Martha Simpson (Jimmy) of Cherokee, AL and Glenda Aldridge of Tuscumbia, AL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobby Joan LeFan; his parents, Carl and Gladys LeFan; and 2 brothers, Wrenfrow and Richard LeFan.
