Tommie L. Timbes

Tommie L. Timbes, 94, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at her residence. She was a Christian; and worked 42 years with the Civil Service for the U. S. Treasury. She enjoyed helping other people. Visitation is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, graveside at Burnsville Cemetery, officiated by Bro. James Rich. Interment will follow in Burnsville Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Glen, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 3 brothers, Bill Timbes and wife, Denise, of Burnsville, MS, Chip Timbes and wife, Diane, of Corinth, MS, and David Timbes of Birmingham, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Timbes; and a sister, Cindy Ann Timbes Marlar. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Burnsville Cemetery Fund at First American National Bank in Burnsville, MS.
