James “Jim” Marlar, Sr, 47, Burnsville, Mississippi, Sunday, September 11, 2011, at his residence. He enjoyed hunting, fixing guns, and gardening. A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, September 16, 2011 at Antioch Freewill Baptist Church. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his mother, Annie Mae Braddock Marlar of Burnsville, MS; 1 son – James “Little Jim” Marlar, Jr. of Burnsville, MS; 1 daughter – Amber Derrick (Scott) of Glen, MS; 2 brothers – Robert “Coney” Marlar (Ann) of Iuka and Clifford Eugene Marlar (Marty) of Tishomingo, MS; and 2 grandchildren – Heaven and Trinity Derrick.
