Roland "Tuck" Hoover

Roland “Tuck” Hoover, 86, of Gardendale, AL (formerly of Tishomingo, MS), died Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at St. Vincent’s East Hospital in Birmingham. He was an U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 8 PM on Thursday, October 27 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Friday, October 28, 2011, graveside, and will be officiated by Bro. Ronnie Legg. Interment will follow in Sunrise Memory Gardens in Pinson, AL. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Deaton Hoover of Gardendale, AL; 2 daughters – Kathie Lewis (Johnny) of Pinson, AL and Mary Ann Ingram (Tommy) of Texas; 1 sister – Edith Sipe of Indiana; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Hazel Hoover; 1 brother, Donald Hoover; 3 sisters, Julia Mashino, Dorothy Mashino, and Dorothy Davis; and a grandchild, Angela Ingram.
