Lephane “Smitty” Smith, 57, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Friday, December 30, 2011, at his residence. He was a former auto mechanic and painter. He enjoyed life. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by 3 brothers, Jimmy Smith of Horn Lake, MS, Victor Smith of Memphis, TN, and Coy Smith of Horn Lake, MS; and 3 half-sisters, Annette Scott of Burnsville, MS, Betty Joiner of McKenzie, TN, and Carolyn Littlejohn of Memphis, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Vester T. Smith, and his mother, Marie Young Hancock.
