Joan Hardeman Parker

Joan Hardeman Parker, 77, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Monday, November 18, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a retired Registered Nurse, where she nursed at the Iuka Hospital and the Public Health Department for many years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and was a Friend of the Library of the Iuka Public Library. There will be no public services. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 2 daughters – Belinda Parker and Louise Royal (Greg), both of Iuka; 1 brother – David Hardeman of Cherokee, AL; and 1 sister – Kay Rae (Mike) of Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Parker; her son, Carl Parker; and her parents, Oscar and Lillian Hardeman.
