Tommie Jean Watson

Tommie Jean Watson, 79, of Tishomingo, Mississippi, died Friday, December 20, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Ms. Watson was formerly employed at McCune’s Restaurant, which was owned by her family. She later worked for Boeing at Cape Canaveral, and then in the banking industry where she was a loan officer and retired as a vice-president. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 23, at Tishomingo Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Robbie Crane. Visitation is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. until service time at the church on Monday. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include one brother, Sam McCune (Fredda) of Tishomingo, MS; and two sisters, Mary McSwain of Center, TX, and Frances Church (Dean) of Rio Vista, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Ray and Allois Davis McCune. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tishomingo County Humane Society.
