Mose Dewey Nunley, 77, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Sunday, December 22, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-East in Memphis. He was born in Iuka, and lived 41 years in Illinois. He worked for General Electric for 25 years, and was involved in real estate, life insurance, the cemetery business, and owned a self-service gas station and convenience store. His favorite hobby was to read. Visitation is scheduled for 4 until 8 PM on Thursday, December 26 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Friday, December 27, 2013, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Gary Watkins and Bro. Tony Curtis. Pallbearers are James Grisham, Tom White, John Young, Earl Walker, Pete Walker, and Jimmy Ramsey. Dr. Ben Kitchens is an honorary bearer. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Nunley of Iuka; 1 brother – George Nunley (Sue) of Ozark, MO; 2 sisters – Mae Floyd and Faye Helton (Dellus), both of Iuka; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrrell and Annie Nunley; and his sister, Myrtle Curtis.
