Kirby Schalkle

Kirby Dean Schalkle, 67, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Monday, August 11, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Mr. Schalkle was retired from Humes & Berg in East Chicago, IN. He was also an automobile body painter and mechanic. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by one son, Anthony Schalkle, Sr. and wife, Ragan, of Iuka, MS; three brothers, Kent Schalkle of Hammond, IN, Joseph Schalkle of Oxford, AL, and Kerry Schalkle of Hammond, IN; two sisters, Evelyn “Obbie” Lunsford of Hammond, IN, and Peggy Schalkle of Gary, IN; and four grandchildren, Sandra Schalkle, Haylee Schalkle, Anthony Shalkle, Jr., and Genesis Southard, all of Iuka, MS. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Crum Schalkle; and his parents, August and Eva Donaldson Schalkle.
