Josephine "Jo" Lindsey

Josephine “Jo” Lindsey, 81, of Iuka, Mississippi, died Friday, November 07, 2014, at her daughter’s residence. She was a member of Grenada Baptist Church. She loved going to yard sales, and watching westerns. She enjoyed going to the Elderly Group at the center. Visitation is scheduled for 5 until 9 PM on Saturday, November 8 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM on Sunday, November 9, 2014, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Rev. Dennis Wellington. Interment will follow in Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Pallbearers Jackie Lewis, Clint Jones, Matt Jones, Andy Walker, Donald Rodgers, Dalton Casteal, and Dillon Casteal. Dustin Cole and Clinton Hayden will serve as honorary bearers. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include 2 daughters – Donna Evans and Debra Lewis, both of Iuka; 1 sister in law – Polly Ledgewood of Iuka; 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Lindsey; and her parents, Thomas and Annie Pearl Hill.
