Elijah Eugene “Dickie” Davis, 73, of Belmont, MS, died Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at Tishomingo Community Living Center. Mr. Davis enjoyed drawing, painting, talking to people, reading and going to church at Belmont United Methodist Church. He also enjoyed spending time at Tishomingo State Park and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, MaryAnn D. Credille Davis; his sisters, Anne Davis Huggins Walters and Jane Davis Warner; and many nieces and nephews, and brothers and sisters in Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander Steven “Zan” and Annie Borden Davis; his brothers, Alexander “Bud” Davis, Alfred Henry “Teet” Davis, and Johnny William Davis; his sisters, Mable Davis James, Margaret Davis Smith, Ruby Davis Hembree, Dacey Davis Cochran, and Patricia Davis Dowda.
