Aubrey Lavon Brown

Aubrey Brown, 94, of Iuka, MS passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019 at the Tishomingo Community Living Center. Aubrey was born on September 1, 1925, in Lena, MS. He was a Methodist minister and was the pastor to churches in Michigan and Western North Carolina. He served in the United States Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. He is preceded in death by his wife, Myrl;his brothers, Edwin, Sam, Walter, Hercil, and Ollen; and his sisters, Myrtis Ashe adn Mary Armstrong. He is survived by his son, Paul; daughter in law, Deborah; granddaughter, Jessica Furst and her husband John; a sister, Frances Barrett; a brother, Ken; and many nieces and nephews. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Interment will be at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Alto, Georgia.
