Barbara Sue Garrett

Barbara Sue Garrett, 71, of Burnsville, MS, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019, at her residence. She enjoyed fishing, watching football, softball, and going to yard sales. Her greatest joy was her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Glen, officiated by Bro. Bobby Christian. Interment will follow in Allen Line Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Justin Garrett, Dustin Garrett, Timmy Wallin, Michael Page, Ronnie Garrett, and Randy Crabb. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Glen. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her daughters, Sherrie Gautney (James), Jamie Garrett (Troy), and Machelle Booker (Richey); her son, Dallas Garrett (Jessica); her grandchildren, Justin Garrett (Monja), Dustin Garrett, Chasity Garrett, Brittany Green, Kara Booker, Alexis Gautney, Clayton Garrett, and Damon Garrett; 5 great grandchildren; her sister, Georgia Wallin; her brothers, Lloyd “Peanut” Rhodes (Margaret) and Clifton “Junior” Rhodes (Pam); several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Clayton Garrett; her parents, Clifton and Virgie Thornburg Rhodes; her brother, David Rhodes; and her sister, Opal Miller.
