Charlotte Ann Cresap Morris

Charlotte Ann Cresap Morris, 81, of Iuka, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Throughout the years, Charlotte took on many career roles, including working as a secretary for Burnsville High School and a receptionist for Dr. Barlow’s dentistry office and working for the Benchmark factory in Burnsville, the Prentiss Shirt Factory in Iuka, and Walmart. She always stayed busy and even took part in logging, farming, and raising cattle. Outside of her work, Charlotte enjoyed hobbies such as reading, sewing, quilting, crocheting, and watching her favorite game show, Wheel of Fortune. She also found joy in nurturing her extensive garden and always delighted in seeing the beautiful flowers she grew. Through all her endeavors, Charlotte remained a devoted caregiver, always putting the needs of others before her own. Whether she was spending time with her kids and grandkids or tending to her ailing mother-in-law and father-in-law, she proudly took care of her family in any way she could. She loved her family more than anything and cherished each moment she spent with them. Charlotte is survived by her beloved husband, Bobby Ray Morris; her children, Ray S. Morris (Charlotte), Shirley Adams, and Eddie L. Morris (Elizabeth); her grandchildren, Seth Adams (Keshia), Chelsey Crum, Jade Newcomb (Jared Kettler), Katie Lambert (Guy), Haley Nikolaj (Niko), Ethan Morris (Karmen), Faith Morris, Eli Adams (Felicity), Avaline Page (Micah); her 24 great-grandchildren; her sister, Helen Harris; her beloved dog of 16 years, Belle; and a host of other loved family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Neal Morris; her grandson, Jesse Ray Morris; and her parents, Will and Ora Cresap. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Terry Booker and Bro. Russell Clouse. Pallbearers include Seth Adams, Eli Adams, Ethan Morris, William Rose, Tommy Morris, and Jerry White. Honorary pallbearers include Carl Morris, Jackie Morris, Jeremy McDuffy, Peyton Cummings.
