Cynthia Jayne "Cindy" Clingan

Cynthia Jayne “Cindy” Clingan, 64, of Iuka, Mississippi, died on Monday, September 21, 2026, at her home. Cindy was known for her kindness, compassion, and fearlessness. She was a longtime member of Fifth Street Baptist Church and absolutely loved attending church and church activities when she was able. Her faith was evident as she dedicated years of her life to caring for others. She worked 10 years as a CNA with Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home before opening her own nursing home, which she operated for another 10 years before retiring. Before her time as a caregiver, Cindy spent 6 years with Hill Brother’s Construction doing anything and everything from flagging to driving a truck. Although she didn’t mind doing the dirty work in her career, she loved keeping herself up and always had her hair and nails done. There was nothing Cindy loved more than her family and taking care of them. Her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her biggest blessings, and she cherished each moment she spent with them.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Ricky Clingan; her children, Britney Bearman (Andy), Kristy Waldrep, and Joshua Clingan (Jessica); her grandchildren, Millie Bearman, Hanna Hudson, Emily Hudson, Eli Clingan, and Makayla Chadwell (Jordan); her great-grandchildren, Andre Hudson, Hayden Hudson, and Addie Chadwell; her uncle, Dallas Moss; her niece, Shannon Dexter; and a host of other loved family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Lily Bearman; her parents, Janette and Leslie Moss; her sister, Shelia Herrod; and her aunt, Martha Glover.

Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026, in the chapel, officiated by Bro. Tony Curtis. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
