Darren Lynch

Darren Kevin Lynch, 57, of Iuka, Mississippi, died on Monday, September 14, 2026, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL. Darren was a member of Pleasant Grove Church of Christ and enjoyed attending when he was able. He was a big fan of Ole Miss football and liked watching movies in his spare time. Throughout the years, Darren found a lot of joy in music, by listening to it or creating it. He was a talented singer and taught himself to play guitar. He enjoyed spending his days outside, especially hiking at Tishomingo State Park or grilling out. Above all, though, Darren loved his family and spending time with them. His children and grandchildren brought him so much happiness, and he always felt so much pride when they were around.

Darren is survived by his children, Jerrica Lynch Groves (Andrew), Jessie Lynch, Leia Lynch, and Luke Lynch; his grandchildren, Chloe Lynch, Goldie Groves, and Ruby Jane Groves; his mother, Joan Lynch; his siblings, Cindy Lynch Sweat (Chris), Heath Lynch, and Derrick Lynch (Brittanni); his niece, Dani Kate Lynch; and a host of other loved family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Lynch; his grandparents, Frank and Jewel Lynch and John D. and Dois Seaton.

Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Church of Christ. Visitation will continue at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026, until service time in the church. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Michael Hodgin. Pallbearers include Chris Seaton, Chris Sweat, Scott Sitton, Heath Lynch, Derrick Lynch, Jessie Lynch, and Andrew Groves. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
