Deborah Sue Cooper

Deborah Sue Cooper, 64, of Iuka, Mississippi, died on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Deborah loved her family. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she adored every moment she spent with them. When she wasn’t with her family, she enjoyed watching a good Western or gospel program. She was a dedicated member of the Burnsville Tabernacle and loved attending services when she was able.

Deborah is survived by her children, Amanda Mills, Heather Phillips (Matthew), Jason Lambert, and Ashley Powell; her grandchildren, Blake Deshazier (Madison), David Tapp, Alex Tapp, Lilly Mills, Novalee Mills, Allieonna Tapp, Maddie Compton, Anna Compton, Jaden Compton, Jordan Compton, Zachary Lambert, Clara Lambert, Mollie Lambert, and Chasen Lambert; her great-grandchildren, Gibson Deshazier, Navy Deshazier, and Harlow Compton; her siblings, Ricky Brown and Brenda Brown; and a host of other loved family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Tom and Marie Brown; her brother, Timothy Brown; her grandson, Jodie Lambert; her great-grandchildren, Ivory Breedlove and Greyson Powell.

Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at Burnsville Tabernacle. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Burnsville Tabernacle, officiated by Bro. Sheldon Lambert. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers include Blake Deshazier, Matthew Phillips, Donnie Davis, Cam Breedlove, Robert Lambert, and Jaden Compton. Honorary pallbearers include Jordan Compton, Toby Lambert, and Zachary Lambert.
