IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Diane Gaye
Delong
October 27, 1948 – February 9, 2026
Diane Gaye Delong, 77, of Iuka, Mississippi, died on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. Diane, in her own words, was a tough old bird. Before retiring, she dabbled in many different careers, but her favorite was the truck driving she did for over 20 years. It took her all over the country and helped develop her love for travel and roadtrips. The outdoors was her home away from home, and she loved spending her time camping. She’d arrange camping trips for her family and would whip up a five-star meal with nothing but an open campfire and a Dutch oven. Her talents in life seemed endless. Cooking, sewing, and many other skills were second nature for her, but there wasn’t anything she couldn’t do when she put her mind to it. Diane was incredibly intelligent and had a quick wit that kept everyone on their toes. In her eyes, your success in life was measured by how well you raised your family, and she surely was successful. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest accomplishment in life, and she beamed with pride whenever they were mentioned. Her love and generosity were unconditional, no questions asked and no expectations of return, and she would give anyone the shirt off her back if they needed it.
Diane is survived by her children, Delbert Ray Briley (Jennifer), Lezlie Lambert (Bro. William), Letha Haahr (Steve), Larae Giuseffi (Joe), and Jason Grisham (Maria); her grandchildren, Denver, Kylie, Dylan, Lynzie, Leigh Ann, Jesse, Elizabeth, Trevor, Taylor, Amber, Joey, Alyssa, Jason Jr., Justin, James, Jessica, Mackayla, Bella, Addilynn, and Everleigh; her 27 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Amanda, Jared, and Hudson; her parents, Richard and Dorothy Forman; 3 brothers; and one sister.
Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. The family will be holding a private memorial service at a later date. An online guestbook may be accessed at www.cutshallfuneralhome.com.
