Faye Robinson

May 28, 1940 — May 29, 2025

Tishomingo

Faye Robinson passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025 at The Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo.

Born on May 28, 1940, to the late Sidney and Ruby Wilson, Faye was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, most recently attending Iuka Church of Christ before her illness. She was a beloved mother, grandmother ("Nanny"), sister, aunt, and friend—deeply respected by all who knew her.

On May 7, 1965, she married the love of her life, the late Roger Robinson. Together, they built a life grounded in faith, family, and service. Faye was a gifted cook and gardener, and held a special affection for her childhood homeplace, where she will be laid to rest in the Allen Line (Piney Grove) community.

Throughout her life, Faye wore many hats. She worked in various roles, often pausing to care for her family as a stay-at-home mom, while still lending a hand at her husband’s insurance office. Later, she found joy in her time with Morgan Van Lines in Booneville.

Faye’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. She had taught Sunday school and helped lead Bible studies, always striving to instill in her children the importance of keeping God at the center of their lives.

Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. A celebration of Faye’s life will be held in the chapel of Cutshall Funeral Home on Sunday, June 1st at 3PM. A brief visitation will precede the service beginning at 1:00 PM. Pallbearers include Dean Garrett, Terry Butler, Max Wilson, Warren Taylor, Mark Taylor, and Bryant Nunley. Interment will be in Allen Line Cemetery.

She is survived by her children: Mitch Parrish (Jennifer) of Florence, AL; Tina Robinson of Tishomingo; and Heather Palmer of Guntown. Her memory will be cherished by her granddaughters: McKinna Palmer, Anna Kate Robinson (Sean Jones), and Sydney Palmer. She is survived by her sister, Cora (Steve) Taylor, and her brother-in-law, Quitman Wigginton.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roger, her grandson Jared Wayne Gann, her brother W.D. Wilson (Etta Rae), and her sister Ann.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorials be made in Faye’s honor to The Sanctuary Hospice House, PO Box 2177, Tupelo, MS 38803, or online at www.sanctuaryhospice.org, to support the provision of end of life care services to patients and families during their final days.
