Jackie Faye Casabella

Jackie Faye Casabella, 89, of Iuka, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, in her home. Throughout the years, Jackie had a very diverse professional life. She got her cosmetology license from Bauder Beauty College in Memphis, worked at the Genesco Shoe Factory in Iuka, and eventually opened her own restaurant and grocery store called Jackie’s Place in Iuka. She even wrote songs and music for the CMA. Jackie was very social, had yard sales all the time, and would just sit and talk to everyone all day long. She loved her pets and flowers and had watched every episode of Law & Order multiple times over. Jackie is survived by her children, Leonard Casabella (Patsy), Terrie Whitehurst (Sid), James Casabella (Jan), Scotty Casabella (Patti), Larry Casabella (Mendy); her grandchildren, Shane Casabella, Jamie Meeks (Josh), Lori Casabella, Sidney Whitehurst (Shelly), Jake Whitehurst (Thelma), Jeremy Casabella (Kat), Jase Casabella, Brian Casabella (Amanda), Ryan Casabella (Lindsey), Scott Casabella (Danielle), Skye Roussel (Matthew), Brooke Ramsey (Austin), Noah Casabella, Bobbi Anne Williams, Isabella Casabella; 23 great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Rachel Alsup; her many furry friends; and a host of other loved family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Casabella; her daughter, Sherry Casabella; her great-grandchild, Naomi Casabella; her parents, Jack and Zora Holland; and her siblings, Winfred Morris, Grace Rice, Willard Holland Junior Holland, Sam Holland, and Billy Ray Holland. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Bro. Leonard Casabella. Pallbearers include Sidney Whitehurst, Jake Whitehurst, Brian Casabella, Ryan Casabella, Scott Casabella, and Noah Casabella. Honorary pallbearers include Shane Casabella, Jase Casabella, and Jeremy Casabella. Interment will be in Hubbard-Salem Cemetery.
