James David Highfield

James David Highfield of Allsboro, AL was born on August 16, 1947 and passed away on January 23, 2019 at the age of 71, after a long illness. David was retired from Hoover as a heavy equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenny Highfield; his parents, Almon and Edna Highfield; his sister, Barbara Bonds; and his brother, Junior Highfield. He is survived by his wife, Nannie Sue Crowe Highfield of Allsboro, AL; his daughter, Lynn Lowery (Steve) of Cherokee, AL; his sister, Cathy Thigpen (James) of Iuka, MS; four grandchildren, Amber Gregory, Tyler Lowery, Kensley Lewis, and Wesley Highfield; four great grandchildren, Madison and Annabell Thornton, Adalyn Gregory, and Axel Lewis; along with a host of nieces and nephews. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, January 25, 2019 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka from 5pm until 8pm. Services are scheduled for 1pm, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka with Bro. Will Burcham, Bro. Scotty Young, and Bro. Fay Crowe. Burial will be at Bethlehem Cemetery in Tishomingo, MS. Pallbearers will be Tyler Lowery, Phillip Crawford, Larry Jarnigan, Jesse Barnes, Tim Wisnewski, and Wesley Highfield.
