Janet Burleson Kilgore

Janet Burleson Kilgore, 66, of Burnsville, MS, died on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at North Alabama Medical Center. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs, caring for the stray animals in her neighborhood, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Douglas Kilgore (Whitney); her brother, Lanny Burleson (Petrisha); her grandchildren, Nathan Kilgore, Gradyn Markle, Paxtan Markle, and Deaton Kilgore; and her nieces and nephews, Diane Seals, Dawn Teague, and T.J. Dunn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Elaine Wilemon Burleson; her husband, Wayne Kilgore; and her sister, Jennifer Dunn. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, August 6, 2022, from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M., at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Services are scheduled for Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 3:00 P.M., at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery.
