Jerry Hursal South

Jerry Hursal South, 68, of Iuka, MS, died Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. Jerry was a 30-year member of the Iuka Baptist Church and was an avid motorcyclist. He was also an automobile enthusiast and was a member of Wheels of Northeast Mississippi Car Club. He is survived by his wife, Teresa South of Iuka; two sons, Jeremy South (Amy) of Tupelo, and Adam South (Tonya) of Cape Girardeau, MO; and four grandchildren, Brennan South, Bailey South, Ayden South, and Addie South. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hursal South and Opal South Thompson. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m., Thursday, July 30, graveside at New Prospect Cemetery, officiated by Bro. Mitch McNeese. Interment will follow in New Prospect Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 2:00 until 3:30 p.m., Thursday, July 30, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
