Joyce Anne Chronister

Joyce Anne Chronister (Martin) passed away peacefully with her son by her side on August 5, 2026, in Rienzi, Mississippi. She was born on August 4, 1944, in San Diego, California. Joyce lived a full and vibrant life dedicated to her family and loved ones.

Joyce was the beloved mother of Linda Walls and her husband, Anthony, Dennis Chronister and Tracie Borden and her husband, Lucas. She was a proud grandmother to Tiffany Spain, Tina Chronister, Ellen Aday, Jessica Selmon, and Melissa Morrison. Her legacy continues through her twelve cherished great-grandchildren.

She is reunited in eternal rest with her husband, Rex Chronister, her great-grandson, Damion Dutton; her daughter-in-law, Mary Bradley, her siblings, George Martin, Jr., Sharon Smith, and Robert Martin, along with her parents, George Martin and Grace Steinberger.

Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, August 10, 2026, from 4pm until 6pm, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel. The service will immediately follow at the same location, officiated by Bro. Tony Corrie.

Joyce will be remembered as a strong-willed woman who spoke her mind and deeply loved her family. Her unwavering spirit and devotion to those she held dear left an indelible mark on all who knew her. May the memory of Joyce Anne Chronister bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.
