Karen “KK” Norton, 72, of Iuka, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025, in her home. KK was one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She had never met a stranger, loved everyone, and was always smiling and laughing. Her favorite thing was the fire department. She visited the local FD often and loved seeing the firetrucks and firemen, especially when they were in the Christmas parade. She was also a big fan of Steve Irwin “The Crocodile Hunter”, Garth Brooks, and Kelly Severide from Chicago Fire. KK collected pens and pencils any chance she got and always had one tucked behind her ear, even when she was sleeping. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Lakeland, FL, and enjoyed attended services before she moved to MS to be with her sister, Melonie. KK was deeply loved by her entire family, “The Harvey Bunch,” and will be greatly missed.

KK is survived by her sisters, Melonie Harvey, Connie Miller, Shirley Pattison (Jim), and Sarah Norton; her brother, Allen Norton (Joann); her nephews, Michale Harvey (Crystal), Jimmy Miller (April), Jason Miller (Tanya), Lance Harvey, Lyle Harvey, Marc Harvey (Jennifer), Stanley Norton, Jr. (Angela), Robbie Kennedy (Amie), Scottie Barfield, and Joshua Pattison; and her nieces, Monica Harvey (Tyler) and Kim Norton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wynona and Stanley Norton; and her nephew, Malcom Harvey.

Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the corner of Westwood Circle and Ash Street in Iuka, MS. A private funeral service will be held in Lakeland, FL, at a later date, officiated by Stanley Allen Norton, Jr. Pallbearers include Kamo Harvey, Robbie Kennedy, Jim Pattison, Stanley Allen Norton, Jr., Jimmy Miller, and Marc Harvey. Honorary pallbearers include Michale Harvey, Blake Nelton, Kevin Sheffield, and Earl Walden. In lieu of flowers, balloons should be purchased in KK’s honor.
