Katherine Philbin

Katherine Philbin, 83, of Iuka, MS, died Friday, May 4, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – East in Memphis, TN. She was a member of the Gospel Church in St. Louis, MO, and enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters, Pam Watson-Rogers (Jack) of Iuka, Nita Pruett (John) of Atlanta, GA, and Mary Evelyn Sockwell (Peanut Maze) of Iuka; one son, James “Bo” Philbin of Iuka; one brother, James Edward Moore of Hernando, MS; five grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Philbin; and her parents, James and Gladys Moore. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for 11 AM until 1 PM on Monday, May 7, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM on Monday, May 7, 2018, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Shawn Glidewell. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Illinois.
