IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lee Ann Lovelace Robertson
Lyon
August 5, 1962 – March 31, 2026
Lee Ann Lovelace Robertson Lyon, 63, was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. She was born on August 5, 1962, in Iuka, Mississippi, to Lee Roy and Ruth Lovelace. She spent some of her earlier years living in Memphis, TN, where she was a business owner. Upon returning to live in Iuka, MS, she worked public relations for various different entities. She was also a devoted member of the community working on various different project, committees, and organizations throughout the years.
Her love for animals was apparent from a young age. This passion grew into a lifelong mission of dedicating countless hours to rescuing, fostering, and rehabilitating animals in need. One of her last, but most prideful endeavors, was helping to get the Tishomingo County Emergency Rescue Shelter off the ground and in the works.
Lee Ann had a love for life, laughter, and friendship. She had an infectious laugh and inability to meet a stranger. She never missed an opportunity to strike up a conversation, share a story, or brighten someone's day. Her favorite activities included entertaining, being at the lake, watching sunsets, and being a Nana to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Lyon; two daughters, Destiny Vick (Stephen) and Stephanie Handley (Nick); two stepchildren, Jennifer Payne (Kyle) and Spencer Lyon (Trista); sister, Sherry White (Glenn); grandchildren, Chloe Hensley, Peyton Vick, Cody Vick (Jaycee), Brady Vick (Kailey), Chloe Handley, Quinn Payne, Holly Starek, Hayden Lyon; 1 great-grandchild, Callen Vick; lifelong friend, Stephanie Barnett (Tommy); and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Roy and Ruth Franks Lovelace.
The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for the care and support they provided during her final days.
No services will be scheduled per her wishes. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, please make a donation in Lee Ann's name to Tishomingo County Emergency Shelter Rescue at P.O. Box 1006, Iuka, MS 38852.
