Linda Gail Borden McGee, 52, of Cherokee, Alabama, died Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at her residence. Linda loved going to church and was a member of Jackson Camp Baptist Church. She also loved her animals and music, as well as gardening and flowers. She is survived by her Momma, Sandra Rast; one son, William Lee McVay; three brothers, Gary Maxwell, John Maxwell, and Jerry Borden, Jr. (Regina); three sisters, Sandra Heaps (Jimmy), Heather Arnold (Robbie), and Rhonda Guenther (Jimmy); two grandchildren, McKagan McVay and Colton McVay; her best friend and caregiver, Rita Crowell; her friend and confidant, Samantha Rivera; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Ray Borden, Sr. and Ollie Grace Simpson Borden; a sister, Lisa Carlisle; and two brothers, Ricky Cornelison and Steve Maxwell. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 6, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 5, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka.
