Louise Charbauski, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully passed away on April 23, 2026, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. Born on March 11, 1963, in Sheffield, Alabama, Louise spent her life cherishing moments with those she loved most.
Louise's greatest pride and joy was her family, whom she held close to her heart. She was the devoted wife of 27 years to Jerry Charbauski, standing by his side as they shared countless memories. She and Jerry were often seen photographing Lady Braves Basketball, among other local events that brought their community together.
A loving mother, Louise is survived by her son, Anthony Allred, and his wife Samantha, as well as her daughters, Tenika Allred and Hayley Charbauski. Her heart was further enriched by a host of grandchildren and other family members who brought immeasurable joy to her days. Family was the center of her world, and she loved tending to her flower garden, spending time cherishing her grandchildren, and being outdoors. She especially found simple happiness in the ritual of burning her leaves, embracing the peacefulness of nature’s rhythms.
Louise was also blessed with the companionship of her brothers, James Smith and his wife Regina, and Roy Smith and his wife Angie, along with her sister, Janell Felker and her husband Wayne. Her loving spirit extended to her cherished fur babies—Buttercup, Rose, Oreo, and Daisey—who were part of her daily comfort and joy.
Though deeply mourned, Louise’s memory shines brilliantly in the hearts of her living family and friends. She was preceded in death by her dear parents, Roy Edward and Edna Marcell Smith, and her brother, Robert Smith. Their legacies live on in the love and strength she carried throughout her life.
Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed immediately by a funeral service at 3:00 PM at Cutshall Funeral Home - Iuka, located at 302 North Pearl Street, Iuka, Mississippi, officiated by Bro. Seth Kennedy. Burial will follow in Snowdown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Felker, Michael Smith, Logan Allred, John Curry, Bobby Unwin, and Shawn Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Dalton Clark, R.J. Smith and Anthony Allred. Friends and family are invited to gather there to honor and celebrate the extraordinary life of Louise Charbauski.
Through every moment spent photographing, gardening, or simply enjoying the outdoors, Louise left an indelible mark of love and warmth. She taught those who knew her the beauty of family, the joy of simple pleasures, and the power of quiet strength. Though she has departed, her spirit remains forever in the laughter of her grandchildren, the gentle breeze through her flower garden, and the loving memories shared by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
