Marilyn Weaver Cain

Marilyn Weaver Cain, 87, of Cherokee, Alabama, died Friday, November 8, 2019, at her residence. Mrs. Cain was a member of Asphalt Rock Baptist Church. She was retired from K-Mart following 33 years of employment as a sales associate and was a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant. She was an Alabama Crimson Tide football fan and loved sitting on her porch and watching birds. Mrs. Cain enjoyed doing arts and crafts as well as painting. She also loved flowers and cooking for her large family. She is survived by two daughters, Carol Cain Henry of Memphis, TN, and Sandra Nichols (David) of Iuka; four sons, Donnie Cain (Gale) of Iuka, Jerry Cain (Mary) of Cherokee, AL, Lyndon Cain (Melissa) of Iuka, and John Cain (Sandra) of Iuka; two brothers, Jimmy Weaver of Huntsville, AL, and Max Weaver of Fayetteville, TN; 16 grandchildren, Nicky Deaton, Lisa Deaton, Lee Cornelius, Shana Alexander, Erica Hubbard, Carrie Johnson, Amanda Richardson, Donovan Cain, Anna Sledge, Warren Cain, Zachery Cain, Lindsey Wilson, Wyatt Wiley, Benjamin Cain, Jordan Cain, and Darrell Cain; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren J. Cain; a son, Terry Cain; her parents, James and Etta McNeil Weaver; three sisters; and one brother. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 11, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Scot Farris and Bro. Donovan Cain. Interment will follow in Margerum Cemetery. Pallbearers include Ben Cain, Jordan Cain, Darrell Cain, Warren Cain, Zachary Cain, and Donovan Cain. Honorary pallbearers include Nicky Deaton, Lee Cornelius, Wyatt Wiley, and her great-grandsons. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Sunday, November 10, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Memorials may be made to The Gideons International, Tishomingo County Camp, P.O.
