Michael Wayne Smith, 63, of Tishomingo, MS, died Saturday, September 19, at his home. Mike enjoyed working outside and spending time hunting, fishing, and being on the lake. He was an avid supporter of his children's sporting activities, and spent most of his later years caring for his parents and grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Lesha Thompson (Michael), Jessie Smith (Allison), and Lindsey Smith; a step-son, Casey Holman; and six grandchildren, Liam Thompson, Titus Thompson, Jayden Smith, Isaac Smith, Benjamin Smith, and James Holman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Pearlie Johnson Smith.

Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Monday, September 21, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 22, graveside at Bethlehem Cemetery. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.
