Myrtle Lambert James, 87, of Iuka, MS, died Thursday, October 3, 2019, at her daughter’s residence. She was a member of Cliff Haven Church. She enjoyed gospel music, Bingo, and spending time with her family. She is survived by one son, Ronnie James (Kim); two daughters, Shelia Brown and Cheryl Williams (Scott); six grandchildren, Kristie Helton (Lee), Joey Brown (Dianne), Amy Cornelison (Brad), Nikki Willis (Dustyn), Lyndsey Wiginton (Jordan), and Ryan Williams (Anna); five great-grandchildren, Shelby Brown (Kaleb), Ty Deaton (Kelly), Brody Dexter, Nathan Cornelison, and Cooper Cornelison; and one great-great-grandchild, Evelyn Mitchell. The family would like to extend special thanks to Elizabeth Durham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy E. James; her parents, Belverd Bell and Lydia Bell Gattis Lambert; three siblings, Shirley Borden, Jo Watson, and Charles “Budgie” Lambert; and a son-in-law, Wayne Brown. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 6, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Tony Curtis. Interment will follow in Mt. Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers include Joey Brown, Ryan Williams, Ty Deaton, Brody Dexter, Brad Cornelison, and Jordan Wiginton. Visitation is scheduled for 1:00 until 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 6, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. An online guest book may be accessed at www.cutshallfuneralhome.com.
