Nan Allen Lyles, 89, of Iuka Mississippi, passed away on January 31, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo Mississippi. Mrs. Lyles was born on April 4, 1936, in Calhoun County, MS, to Elliott and Zelma Sprayberry Allen. She was a devoted member of Iuka Baptist Church and lived a life grounded in faith, service, and love for her family and community. She worked for the Iuka School District and Iuka Guaranty Bank, where she was known for her dedication and kind spirit. She enjoyed playing the piano, putting puzzles together, watching the Ole Miss Rebels, and attending sporting events involving her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Steve Lyles (Phyllis), Allen Lyles (Kim), and Jeff Lyles (Gail); her brother, Ellett Allen, Jr. (Barbara); her grandchildren, Tara Austin (Chance), Anna Wilbanks (Brice), Abby Butler (Cade), Logan Lyles (Mallorie), Luke Lyles, Josh Lyles (Shelby), and Sara Dumas (Patrick); and her great-grandchildren, Preslee Austin, Payton Austin, Millee Wilbanks, Harlee Wilbanks, Blaire Butler, Deacon Lyles, John Lyles, James Lyles, and Ben Dumas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellett Allen, Sr. and Zelma Allen; her husband, John Lyles; her sister, Annette Curtis and brother-in-law, Ray Curtis, and a great-grandchild, Sadee Wilbanks.
Cutshall Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will be Thursday, February 5, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and will continue until service time at 12:00 p.m. at Iuka Baptist Church. Services will be officiated by Dr. Ronnie Hatfield, Dr. Johnny Hancock, and Greg Woodruff. Pallbearers include Josh Lyles, Logan Lyles, Luke Lyles, Chance Austin, Brice Wilbanks, Patrick Dumas, and Cade Butler.
Nan will be remembered for her gentle heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. An online guest book may be accessed at www.cutshallfuneralhome.com
