Rickey Lee White, 73, of Iuka, Mississippi, died on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in his home. Rickey was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Before retiring, he worked as an Inside Journeyman Wireman with the IBEW, and in his free time, he enjoyed going fishing and raising different kinds of fowl, like chickens, peacocks, and pigeons. Rickey was an incredibly talented musician. From playing the trumpet at Mississippi State to being a part of the Peacemakers group at Iuka Baptist Church, music was always an incredibly big part of his life. Throughout the years, he picked up numerous different instruments and played in many different bands and groups, and he loved every minute of it. Rickey is survived by his children, Destiny White, Lindsay Spellings (Daniel), and Robin White; 15 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; his sister, Theresa Leeth (Dan); and his caretakers, Mike and Ruth Ortner. He was preceded in death by his son, Rayce Lee White; his father, Chalmer Lee White; his mother, Opal Diane Walker; his grandparents, Oscar and Ola Mae Lambert and Columbus and Hattie White; and his brother, Randy White. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. The family will be holding a graveside memorial service at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
