Sandra Kay McBride, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, peacefully departed this life on December 7, 2025, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. She was born on January 14, 1952, in Iuka, MS, where her roots took hold and flourished over the years.
With over 30 years of dedicated service, Sandra made her mark at Piggly Wiggly in Cherokee, AL and Corinth, MS, where her warm smile and caring demeanor touched the hearts of countless customers and coworkers alike. She was much more than an employee; she was a family to those who worked by her side.
Sandra was a proud founding member of the Cotton Patch Cloggers, a testament to her vibrant spirit and love for music and community. Her passion for cooking was evident, as she often brought people together around the table, sharing meals and laughter. Above all, Sandra cherished spending time with her family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
She leaves behind her loving daughters, Cassy Fulghum and Courtney Smith (Jason), who will forever carry the lessons of love and resilience she bestowed upon them. A devoted sister, Lynn West, also mourns the loss of her beloved sibling. The legacy of Sandra will also live on through her several nieces and nephews, who were fortunate to experience her warmth and kindness.
Sandra is reunited in spirit with her dearly departed parents, Ernest and Reba McBride, along with her sister, Naomi Flurry and her husband, Bill, and her brother, Danny McBride and his wife, Bennie, as well as her brother-in-law, Jerome West. Their love continues to shine brightly in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS. The celebration of her remarkable life will take place the following day, Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 11 AM, also at the same location, officiated by Bro. Ron Norvell and Bro. Brian Jones.
