Timothy Howard "Tim" Lovelady

Timothy Howard "Tim" Lovelady, 58, of Tishomingo, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in his home. He was born in Olive Branch, Mississippi on December 31, 1967. Tim owned his own shop in Olive Branch, MS before moving his family for a quieter life in Tishomingo, MS. Shortly after, he started working at Main Street Cycle as a head mechanic in their early days. He remained there as a valued and loved employee. Tim had nearly every mechanics certification there was, and was always up for learning more. He was always an avid lover of the outdoors, whether it be boating or fishing, and he was a gun enthusiast. Tim loved woodworking and spending time with his family. He was an accomplished pit master with several trophies under his belt, which is a love he passed down to his children. Tim was beloved by his grandchildren especially. He was always trying to teach them something, and telling stories to them about his own childhood. He is survived by his wife, Julie Lovelady; his children, Erika McCoy (Adam), Alicia Spangler (Chris), Timothy Shane Lovelady (Shelby), Thomas Jake Lovelady (Kelly), and Catherine Taylor (Ryan); his grandchildren, Carrie, Ean, Ezra, Summer, Isaiah, Autumn, Jenson, Jase, Jasper, Jackson, Tasha, Sarah, and Cathy; his two sisters, Beverly and Janet; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Wallace Lovelady; his mother, Bernice Humphreys Lovelady; and his brother, Clyde Wallace Lovelady. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka. A celebration of life will follow on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel, officiated by Bro. Dallas Culver. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery. Pallbearers include Shane Lovelady, Jake Lovelady, Adam McCoy, Chris Spangler, Harmon Massengill, and Joel Crane.
